Luscious knitting books..........

Two new books arrived for me today from Amazon. I just love these! Knitting Little Luxuries is full of beautiful photos and instructions for projects such as feminine hats, purses, scarves, and fingerless gloves. 101 Designer One-Skein Wonders has tons of neat projects...........I like so many...........where to start? Also shown are some new knitting needles that I bought last night at Walmart.

My first knitting project

Ta-da! The stockinette scarf. I started this scarf after watching only 3 chapters of my new dvd: The Complete Beginner's Guide to Knitting, by Nici McNally. My grandparents gave it to me for my recent birthday, and I would HIGHLY recommend it to ANYONE who wants to learn. The chapters are short and to the point and extremely easy to follow. This dvd made it so simple to learn.
